Return and refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

 

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be in the same condition that you received them.
  • Items must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging.

  2. Once your return request is approved, we will send detailed instructions on how to send your package back to us.
  3. Please note: Items sent back to us without prior return authorization will not be accepted.

 

Shipping Charges for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for shipping charges when returning items.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be issued to the same credit card or account used for the original purchase.
  • You will be credited for the cost of the item(s) and any applicable taxes.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of approving the return.
  • Please note it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 10 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@costumejacket.com.

Size-Related Returns and Exchanges

At Costume Jacket, we ensure all sizes are confirmed with customers before dispatch to avoid any issues.

  • Returns or exchanges for size issues are not accepted unless the size/color provided is different from what was ordered or the item is defective.
  • If you mistakenly ordered the wrong size and confirmed it via email or call, we offer a flat 50% discount on a new order for the correct size.
    • Through this solution, we share the responsibility:
      • You keep the original jacket.
      • Your new jacket is provided at 50% off the original price.


Defective or Incorrect Item Returns

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong size/color due to an error on our end:

  • Contact us at info@costumejacket.com immediately.
  • We will accept the return and provide a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.


Inspection and Notification

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to confirm if it meets the eligibility criteria.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days.
  • If the return is not approved, we will contact you with the reason.
